See the Programs page for a list of National Trail Parks & Recreation District (NTPRD), Clark County Park District (CCPD), USTA and SATA sponsored tennis events. Several Adult and Youth events for the months of May, June have been posted and are now open for registration. Other events posted here will be open for registration later in May. Keep checking back for updates!

Anthony Carl Chiricosta (Tony)
The Springfield tennis community is very saddened to learn about the passing of Anthony Carl Chiricosta (Tony) on March 26, 2026. Tony will always be remembered as one of the greatest tennis players ever to come out of the storied Springfield tennis program led by Dr. Howard Dredge. Joyce Elaine Warren

Indian Valley Tennis Club Partners with SATA
SATA has partnered with the Indian Valley Tennis Club (IVTC) in an effort to benefit both the greater Springfield tennis community and the IVTC.
For every IVTC adult member who joins SATA, a $20.00 donation from SATA to the IVTC will be made to help with court upkeep.
This partnership is a "win-win" for the IVTC and tennis in our community.
A SATA and IVTC Adult Tennis Mixer will be held Thursday, May 21 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at the IVTC courts. See the Programs-Adult Tennis page for more information.

2025 Annual Meeting
The annual meeting was held at Deanna Brougher's house on Thursday October 9, 2025. SATA members present: Deanna and Bill Brougher; Dave Engle; Ski Schanher; Ruth Addis; MaryAnn LaHaise; Greg Clements; Molly van Beysterveldt; Alan Watson; Mark Beckdahl; Kathi Malina; Dan and Judy McGregor; Rob Hagelberg; and Kevin Rose. Dinner/drinks provided.
